Shuttle J-RS232 COM/LPT Expansion Kit – serial and parallel port adapter for Shuttle XPC

The Shuttle J-RS232 COM/LPT Expansion Kit is an original Shuttle accessory designed for selected Shuttle XPC cube barebones. The module adds classic legacy connectivity to the system by providing 1x RS232 COM port and 1x parallel LPT port at the rear panel.

This makes the J-RS232 especially relevant for users who still need to connect older or specialized equipment such as industrial devices, POS equipment, measurement tools, label printers, control systems or other hardware that depends on serial or parallel communication.

The kit consists of an I/O expansion card with slot bracket and an LPC ribbon cable for internal connection to the Shuttle motherboard. The external connections are provided through a 9-pin Sub-D male RS232 serial port and a 25-pin Sub-D female parallel port.
