Compulab FACE Module FM-LANE4U2/4 (FM-4LAN) – Quad LAN Expansion for fitlet® Systems

The Compulab FM-LANE4U2/4 (FM-4LAN) FACE Module adds four additional Gigabit Ethernet ports to compatible fitlet® industrial PCs, enabling advanced networking, traffic separation, and multi-interface edge deployments in a compact and fully integrated form factor.

By installing directly into the system’s FACE slot, the module becomes part of the platform’s fanless and cable-free architecture. This ensures high mechanical reliability and eliminates the need for external NICs or USB adapters – a critical advantage in industrial and embedded environments where uptime and serviceability are key.

With four dedicated LAN interfaces, the fitlet® platform can be used for applications such as secure network segmentation, firewall and router solutions, SD-WAN, edge gateways, and machine-to-machine communication. The multi-port design also makes it ideal for environments where different networks must remain physically separated, such as OT/IT convergence, smart city infrastructure, and transportation systems.

The module integrates seamlessly with both Linux-based and Windows IoT platforms, where multiple native network interfaces enable deterministic performance, advanced routing, and centralized device management.
